The argument is without the ability to compete especially with the new smaller urban delivery companies, the Postal Service will continue to need to be underwritten by the Canadian Government, as they will be left with only the rural and hard to delivery areas.
The New Liberal Government lead by new Prime Minister Mark Carney will have a hard choice should one side or the other walks come Thursday: To allow a full on shutdown of services to resume or impose a contract and order all back to work.
